Ms. Sumathi Murti holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and a Master of Science in Medical Biotechnology from the University of Malaya (UM). She is a certified International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) Biology instructor, showcasing her proficiency in preparing students for the rigorous challenges of international curricula. Prior to SIS, she has been teaching for over 15 years where her passion for teaching has taken her through a diverse range of science programs, including IB, Cambridge Edexcel, and GCE, further enriching her pedagogical repertoire. Ms. Sumathi Murti is currently teaching Biology to students in DP Year 1 and 2 and Integrated Science to students in MYP Year 4, nurturing the next generation of aspiring scientists. In her role as Service Learning Facilitator for IBCP, she is dedicated to integrating community service with academic learning, fostering a spirit of empathy and civic responsibility among students.
