Shan Subramaniam

Shan Subramaniam graduated from Chares Stuart University Australia with a Masters In Business Administration. He also completed a Bachelor in Economics with an additional qualification in Human Resource Management from Universiti Malaya. Prior to joining at SIS, he taught at International schools in Malaysia for 12 years and 1 year in Singapore for IGCSE, A-Level, and IB business and economics subjects.

Ananthan Seluerajah

Ananthan has spent the last 15 years working in various educational settings in Malaysia. He has taught Mathematics and Additional Mathematics and served as a Key Stage Coordinator at an international school in Selangor. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electronics - Mechatronics) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and a Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning (CICTL). He is currently pursuing his National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL).

Victoria Sarah Forster

Originally from Newcastle in the UK, Victoria Forster has also spent 10 years living in Perth, Western Australia, before moving to Malaysia in 2018. Before joining SIS, she taught in the UK, Australia and an International School in Shah Alam. she lives here with her 2 year old son and husband, who is a chef. She studied English Literature and Spanish at Cardiff University, then went on to get her PGCE from Northumbria University. she also holds a Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA), as well as an Advanced Diploma in Teaching Adult Literacy.

Lai Ming Wei

Lai Ming Wei holds a Degree in Education, major in Early Childhood Education. She has 4 years of experiences working with children aged between 1- 12 years old. Focusing on language teaching (mandarin, english), and social- behavioral management. 

She believes that children's social and emotional development is crucial, and effective learning can only take place when they feel secure in their school environment. She strives to create a classroom that serves as a safe space for students to express their feelings and be themselves.

Laurie Adele

Lauris Adele is an international educator passionate about teaching and exploring new places. Her teaching philosophy is simple: meet students where they are and help them grow, so they’re ready for whatever comes next. She holds a Master of Arts in Education from California State University and a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University, plus a teaching credential with TESOL from California State. She has been an educator since 2001, but for the past 9 years, she has had the joy of teaching in Egypt, Kosovo, and now Malaysia.

Nichole Voo Wen Huey

Nicole graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and recently just finished her professional certificate in Special Needs Education. She has 6 years of working experience in Early Childhood and Elementary. She was a freelance tuition teacher for about a year before joining a school that offered an afterschool program for elementary students. In her 5 years there, she was the class teacher for 5 year olds in the morning, and a class teacher for Daycare students from Primary 1-4 in the afternoon.

Fathin Nabila Binti Mohamad Hussin

Fathin holds a degree in Malay Studies (Malay Language) from the University of Malaya (UM) and holds a Master of Arts in Malay Studies, also from the same university. With over five years of experience in the field of education, she has taught both national and international syllabus. Her diverse teaching background includes various educational settings, enhancing her ability to adapt to different learning environments and student needs. She believes in creating an engaging and supportive learning atmosphere that fosters a love for the Malay language and culture.

Nur Sofia Hany Zul Hadi

Sofia attended international schools for a majority of her K-12 education; in England, Malaysia, and the Czech Republic. Her positive experiences inspired her to pursue a career in international school education. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Nottingham Malaysia, she received her Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning from Taylor’s University. Sofia is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and holistic learning environment. She is currently the English as a Second Language teacher for grades 3-5 at SIS.
