The academic year for Primary School starts in January, but admissions are accepted all year round.

  1. Application

    Complete the Application Form, Preliminary Review Form, and prepare all documents listed in the Admissions Checklist.

  2. Readiness Assessment (Grade 4 onwards)

    Applicants enrolling for Grade 3 / Year 4 and above must meet minimum requirements in English & Mathematics.

    Admissions Office will schedule the assessment.

     

  3. Admissions

    Applicants who satisfy the requirements will receive a written admission offer. 

    Successful applicants must accept the offer and make the required payments to secure a place.

  • Student's Birth Certificate (1 copy)
  • Student’s Passport-Sized Photograph (2 copies)
  • Certified True Copies of Past 3 Years Academic Results / Final Report Card

Note: International students need a visa issued by the Malaysian Government.

Secondary School (Grades 6–11 / Years 7–11)

The Canadian (Ontario) Programme covers:

  • Middle School (Grades 6–8)
  • High School (Grades 9–11) 

Two semesters per year; semester-based system so students have a fresh start regardless of intake.

The Cambridge (IGCSE) Programme covers:

  • Lower Secondary (Years 7–9)
  • Upper Secondary (Years 10–11)


Intake for Years 7–9 begins in January. 
Year 10 has two intakes: January & July.

MCS-Led Sixth Form (A Level) & IBDP (Pre-university)

SIS welcomes students who have completed: 

  • SPM
  • IGCSE
  • O Levels
  • OSSD Grade 10
  • or equivalent

to apply for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

Additional entry requirements for:

MCS-Led Sixth Form (A Level) & IBDP (Pre-University)

  • Completion of SPM, IGCSE, O Levels, OSSD Grade 10, or equivalent
  • Interview(s)

The Admissions Office will schedule the assessment and interview.

Step 3: Admissions

Submit all documents early to avoid delays.

 

Note: For applicants with MM2H, Dependent Pass or PR status, please inform the Admissions Office at the point of application as the process may vary. Please refer to Permission to Study below.

International students with:

may study with Permission to Study, which is an endorsement stamp in the passport.
