Robyn Mary Hartley
Robyn Hartley is originally from South Africa. She completed a degree in Marketing and Media from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, followed by a postgraduate degree in Primary Teaching. Her career has been exciting and varied, allowing her to work in various non-teaching and teaching environments. This diverse experience has equipped her with different skills and perspectives, contributing to her growth as an educator. Teaching has taken Robyn to remarkable places, including the United Kingdom, Indonesia and South America.
Reem El Ramly
Reem El Ramly holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia. She has taught English and Psychology in Canada, Egypt and Oman. Her teaching philosophy centers on the idea that each student is unique, and it is her role to support them in reaching their full potential. She is excited to join us as the Library Teacher.
Leonie Borthwick
I am Mrs. Leonie Borthwick.
I am originally from South Africa, but have also taught in South Korea, India and Germany.
I am passionate about education and giving each child I interact with a fair opportunity to learn how to succeed in the world we live in.
I am excited to be here in Malaysia and to play a role in your child's life.
Rosemary East
I am a passionate and experienced elementary teacher with a diverse international background, having taught in Canada, the United States, England, China, Thailand, Kazakhstan, and Malaysia. Currently, I teach Senior kindergarten, bringing a global perspective to early childhood education.
Christopher Andrew Quarrie
Chris Quarrie holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto and a Master's in Educational Technology from the University of British Columbia. Mr. Quarrie has spent the last 20+ years teaching Science, Biology, Chemistry, Human Anatomy, AP Biology, Computer Science, and Design to grades 8-12 in a variety of school settings in Japan, England, New Zealand, Canada, and for over 10 years in Malaysia. Mr. Quarrie currently teaches our grade 9 students MYP Design, and our grade 11-12 students DP Chemistry and Environmental Systems and Societies.
Yap Qien Qien
Qien Qien graduated from the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman Malaysia with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Hons). She has been working with young children since 2020.
Simon Tiew Hung Liang
Simon Tiew graduated from University of Malaya with a Master Degree of Strength and Conditioning. He is certified by the Swimming Teachers Association (STA), UK in swimming teaching, special needs, Aquabatix and Aquaphobia teacher (CTA). He is involved with the State Sports Council Johor (MSNJ) in high performance swimming (License B) and a certified swim coach by FINA, ASCTA, ACSA. He is also a certified LSSM lifesaving instructor. He teaches Physical Education (Aquatics) from Grade 1 to MYP Year 5.
Shereez du Plessis
Ms Du Plessis is an English teacher who aims to harness curiosity and open discussion in her students. She also aims to facilitate and ensure her students are held to and able to reach high expectations.
