Our MCS-led A Level Programme enables students to achieve their best in their chosen subjects and pursue relevant career pathways at university.
Over 25% of MCS Sixth Form students achieve places at Oxford and Cambridge, with the overwhelming majority of the remainder progressing to Russell Group universities.
MCS is one of the UK’s top schools for securing places at elite universities.
Based on 2024 results:

Students are advised to take 4 subjects for successful university entry, with the option to take more.

The programme develops students’ knowledge, understanding, and skills through:
Teacher-directed, customised timetables tailored to each student's academic needs.
Selected students (according to set criteria) participate in an immersion programme at MCS Oxford.
Held twice per academic/year:
Additional academic development and career guidance via the Waynflete support framework, ensuring students are well-prepared for university-level research and study.
