Shan Subramaniam graduated from Chares Stuart University Australia with a Masters In Business Administration. He also completed a Bachelor in Economics with an additional qualification in Human Resource Management from Universiti Malaya. Prior to joining at SIS, he taught at International schools in Malaysia for 12 years and 1 year in Singapore for IGCSE, A-Level, and IB business and economics subjects. It is the beauty of Business and Economics, its logic, and its applications, combined with teaching students, helping them to gain higher knowledge, and to ignite the passion, that is the greatest reward for him. Collaborative learning, advancing a holistic curriculum, and, most crucially, boosting students' confidence in Business and Economics—especially those who struggle with the subject—are among Shan's educational priorities. Teaching goes beyond subject knowledge, and the satisfaction that it provides goes beyond words.
