Luc Degrace

Luc Degrace graduated from Laval University with a Bachelor of Arts (Social Sciences) and a Master’s degree in Political Science.  He then continued his studies at the University of Ottawa and obtained a Bachelor of Education. Prior to joining us at SIS, Mr. Degrace taught for two years in Taiwan and four years in Canada. He is currently teaching Grade 9 Geography and Grade 10 French at SIS. 

Brian Le

Brian Le graduated from the University of Guelph, Ontario, with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics.  He later earned his Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Sunshine Coast in Australia with an additional English language learner qualification from Brock University. He has taught for 9 years and has taught in the UK, Australia, China, and Malaysia. Mr. Le specializes in ESL and is currently teaching high school ESL at SIS.

Martin Pagé

Martin Pagé holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Education from McGill University. Mr. Pagé previously taught Mathematics and Chemistry in a private high school in Montréal, and Advanced Functions and Calculus in Sunway College’s Canadian International Matriculation Programme (CIMP) since 2011. At SIS, he continues to teach high school and IBDP Mathematics courses.

Low Sok Kian

Low Sok Kian holds a Bachelor (Hons) of Arts from the University of Malaya and a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching from Open University Malaysia. She has taught Mandarin in other international schools prior to SIS. She joins SIS in 2017 and teaches Mandarin for IBDP and as an after school programme.

Marc Brothers

Marc Brothers is a graduate of the University of Windsor in Canada. Since 2003, he has been teaching Business Management, Economics, History, Geography, and Humanities to middle and high school students in Indonesia, Mexico, Thailand, Kuwait, and China. He brings with him 5 years of experience in the IB Diploma Programme. He is currently teaching IB Business Management and IB Environmental Systems and Societies. 

Aaron MacArthur

Aaron MacArthur spent the last 12 years working in various international educational settings in Malaysia, Singapore, China, Kuwait, and Indonesia. He has taught mathematics, international business, and business leadership. Mr. MacArthur has worked in International Baccalaureate, American, and Ontario curriculum schools. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA from the University of Guelph, and a Bachelor of Education from the Onario Institute of Studies in Education.

Claire Watson

Claire Watson spent more than 12 years teaching in South East Asia, China, and the Middle East.  She taught Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Education in various curricula such as Advanced Placement, American, International Baccalaureate, and Ontario. Ms. Watson holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from the University of Toronto; a Bachelor of Education from Ontario Institute of Studies in Education, and a Master of Education from Charles Sturt University.

Easton Hanna

Easton Hanna earned a Diploma in Child and Youth Counseling at Mohawk College before pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. He obtained a Bachelor of Education from York University in Toronto in 2007. Mr. Hanna taught with the Canadian Pre-University Programme in Malaysia for 8 years before returning home to teach with Halton District School Board for two years. He began teaching Grade 9 English at SIS in January 2020. 

Albert Africa

Albert Africa has completed a Postgraduate Degree in Mathematics and Science from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. He has also completed his Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Science. Prior to SIS, Mr. Africa spent 5 years teaching in South Africa, 4 years in the Middle East, as well as 2 years in Malaysia teaching. He has taught subjects ranging from AP Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics across middle and high school.
