Hello! My name is Ms. Shannon and I am an Ontario certified teacher with over 24 years of elementary classroom teaching experience, primarily in Kindergarten to Grade 3. I have an Honours B.A. in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Bachelor of Education from University of Western Ontario, and hold an Ontario Teacher's Certificate in the Primary/Junior division. I also have additional qualifications in Special Education and Kindergarten, and acquired TEFL Certificate from the University of Toronto.
I have lived in Ontario, Canada my whole life and am proud mom to two teenage boys. I love writing in my gratitude journal, swimming and enjoying the outdoors. I am so excited to become a part of the Sunway team, and have the opportunity to teach in Malaysia at SIS. I believe each student comes with a unique set of skills, interests and abilities, and I am blessed to be a part of their journey, and help them reach their full potential.
