Cara Wilson

Cara Wilson graduated from The University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts in French and Geography. She also completed a Bachelor of Education at the University of Western Ontario. She has obtained additional qualifications for teaching French as a second language, English as a second language, kindergarten, special education, and geography.

Lenore Herter

Lenore Herter attended the University of Saskatchewan where she earned a Bachelor of Education. She has taught Kindergarten to Grade 2 but has spent the last 7 years in Special Education. She has been an educator in Japan, Italy and Germany. Her passions include hiking, photography and travelling.

David Swanson

David Swanson has been a passionate educator for over 16 years in South Korea. He finds teaching young learners the most rewarding, focusing on the importance of social and emotional learning. Having a double M.Ed. in Teaching English Learners and Early Education, he is especially skilled with ELLs, kindergarten, and young students. 

Victoria Sarah Forster

Originally from Newcastle in the UK, Victoria Forster has also spent 10 years living in Perth, Western Australia, before moving to Malaysia in 2018. Before joining SIS, she taught in the UK, Australia and an International School in Shah Alam. she lives here with her 2 year old son and husband, who is a chef. She studied English Literature and Spanish at Cardiff University, then went on to get her PGCE from Northumbria University. she also holds a Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA), as well as an Advanced Diploma in Teaching Adult Literacy.

Mohd Azfar Asraf Sulaiman

Azfar is a dedicated educator with 6 years of teaching experience, specializing in Language and Linguistics and Malay Studies. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Language and Linguistics and a Master's degree in Malay Studies from the University of Malaya, Azfar brings a deep understanding of linguistic theory and cultural nuances to his teaching. Azfar's teaching philosophy emphasizes creating inclusive learning environments where students engage actively with course material and develop critical thinking skills.

Paul Simon Nott

Originally from South Africa, Paul Nott's educational journey began with a degree in computer network systems engineering, followed by a switch to psychology, and ultimately led to his certification as a teacher. Although he has taught English and Math, his true passion lies in teaching science.

Jesse Morin

Jesse Morin, a certified educator from the USA, obtained his postgraduate degrees from Texas A&M University and the University of Texas at Tyler, holding both a Master of Business Administration and a Master in Educational Leadership. Jesse has dedicated over 8 years to the K-12 education sector in Houston, Texas, and has held campus leadership roles since 2020. He has taught a variety of subjects including English, Geography, History, Politics, and Economics at both Middle and High School levels.

Milagrita Shin

Milagrita Shin is an accomplished educator, she holds an MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Birmingham with distinction. She also possesses a BA from the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa) and teaching certification from Moreland University (USA). With over 18 years of experience in English Language Learning, Mila has honed her skills in diverse international environments such as Malaysia, South Korea, and Vietnam.

Kimberley May Anderson

Kimberley Anderson is a passionate, enthusiastic teacher from Durban, South Africa. She graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2014 and started her teaching career abroad, in South Korea. Thereafter, she moved back to South Africa and taught at the primary school that she attended as a learner. Her passion lies in English studies, in which she has specialized for most of her teaching career. She is now in her ninth year of teaching and is thoroughly enjoying the experience of teaching in another new and exciting location, Malaysia.

Shannon Brown

Hello! My name is Ms. Shannon and I am an Ontario certified teacher with over 24 years of elementary classroom teaching experience, primarily in Kindergarten to Grade 3. I have an Honours B.A. in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Bachelor of Education from University of Western Ontario, and hold an Ontario Teacher's Certificate in the Primary/Junior division. I also have additional qualifications in Special Education and Kindergarten, and acquired TEFL Certificate from the University of Toronto.
