Rachel Chua

Rachel Chua is a passionate Mandarin teacher with 14 years of experience, specializing in secondary education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Language and Linguistics from University Malaya, a Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL) from Central China Normal University in Wuhan, China and a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching (PGDT) from Open University Malaysia. She has taught across Cambridge IGCSE, A-Level, IB DP/MYP, HSK, and SPM, helping students from diverse backgrounds excel in Mandarin.

Oliver Quinton

Oliver Quinton joins SIS as a German and English teacher this school ear. He is British teacher with over a decade of Modern Foreign Language teaching experience from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4. He has also taught English as a First Language and Second Language since 2000. He has lived, studied and worked in the UK, Netherlands, Belgium France, Spain, Italy, Singapore, China and Malaysia. His experties lies in building language proficiency: improving oral fluency, writing structure, accuracy and improving text comprehension skills.

Mohamed Fouad Abdelaziz Hassanein

Mr Mohamed Fouad Abdelaziz Hassanein graduated from Alexandria University with a Bachelor in Science and Bachelor in Education, with an endorsement in Physics and Chemistry. He is an Ontario College of Teacher certified High and Middle School Science. Teacher also with an additional qualification in teaching Senior Biology & Chemistry and Special Education from Queens University.

Sharn Kaur

Sharn Kaur holds a BSc Hons in Business Computing from the University of Hull and a PGCE in Secondary ICT from Sheffield Hallam University. With over 18 years of experience teaching ICT and Computer Science in the UK, Sharn is passionate about empowering students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in a technology-driven world. As an Accredited Trainer for Cambridge International Examinations(CIE) for the IGCSE Computer Science and IGCSE IT courses, Sharn brings a wealth of expertise to the classroom.

Yang Syao Tung

Ms Yang received her Master in Financial Economics from Cardiff University, UK. As a proud alumni of Sunway University and recipient of full scholarship from Jeffrey Cheah Foundation, Ms Yang is drawn to be part of Sunway International School due to its reputation for fostering love of learning among students. She is committed to creating and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and respected.

Shannon Brown

Hello! My name is Ms. Shannon and I am an Ontario certified teacher with over 24 years of elementary classroom teaching experience, primarily in Kindergarten to Grade 3. I have an Honours B.A. in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Bachelor of Education from University of Western Ontario, and hold an Ontario Teacher's Certificate in the Primary/Junior division. I also have additional qualifications in Special Education and Kindergarten, and acquired TEFL Certificate from the University of Toronto.

Mohammed Ashfaq Asghar

Coming from Birmingham in the UK, Ashfaq holds a Bsc Honours in Human Psychology from Aston University in Birmingham, and he completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at the University of Birmingham.

Ashfaq began his teaching career at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Castle Bromwich, UK after which he moved to Tokyo, Japan where he spent 11 years teaching English in Junior High schools.

Langley Anthony Geldenhuis

Langley Geldenhuis is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Nelson Mandela University (NMU). He is also currently pursuing a master's degree in advance teaching to further his expertise. With nine years of teaching experience across South Africa, South Korea, and Malaysia, Langley brings a global perspective to his classrooms.
