Sunway International Schools (SIS) are the established private international schools under

Sunway City Kuala Lumpur
SIS’s first campus started in 2008 as a secondary school in Sunway City Kuala Lumpur.
It offers three world-renowned school qualifications, i.e., Canada’s Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), Sunway Cambridge International Programme and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). As Malaysia’s only licensed Ontario offshore school that also offers IBDP, SIS Sunway City KL is highly sought after and has relocated to their new campus in January 2023. SIS is currently offering kindergarten, primary and secondary, and pre-university programmes.
Sunway City Iskandar Puteri (Johor)
Growing interest in SIS led to its second campus down south in Johor in 2017.
To cater to the demands of the integrated township in Johor, the second SIS campus opened its doors to the local and expatriate community. This K-12 school delivers the Canadian (Ontario) curriculum for kindergarten and primary grades, and International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-related Programme (CP) for secondary and pre-university levels.
Sunway City

SEG institutions support United Nation’s agenda for sustainable development. SIS’s educational programmes, policies, and practices are structured to include SDG tenets. The Ontario school curriculum defines scope and expectations for environmental education across kindergarten, grades 1-8, and grades 9-12 programmes. The International Baccalaureate (IB) emphasises environment and humanity across its programmes with strategies for sustainable teaching and learning. SIS’s new campus, to open in 2023, is Malaysia’s first GreenRE Platinum Certified School.
Two Campuses, One Promise
Both SIS campuses, in central and southern West Malaysia, are the only Canadian (Ontario) and IB World Schools in Malaysia and one of very few in Southeast Asia. Congruity in Canadian and IB curricula means students progress directly from grade 10 into the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP).
