Jeffrey Kyle Elliott
Jeffrey is originally from Kingston, Ontario and graduated from Trent University in 2010 with an Honours degree in Psychology. Jeffrey taught EAL in Harbin, China from 2012-2013 before returning to Canada to complete his Bachelor of Education and join the Ontario College of Teachers [OCT]. Most recently, Jeffrey completed a Masters in Education from Ottawa University.
Jeffrey has over 10 years of international teaching experience having taught in the UK, China and has called Malaysia home for 10 years now. He has a range of teaching experience within the Humanities and has over 6 years of leadership experience, having been a Deputy of Pastoral and most recently a Head of Secondary. Jeffrey has a keen interest in sustainable education both inside and outside the classroom, so that students learn to grow a deeper appreciation of the natural environment. Jeffrey strongly believes that the development and practice of personal characteristics such as respect, resilience and dedication are equally important alongside academic success in the classroom.
In his personal time Jeffrey enjoys the outdoors and sports such as golf, squash, running and hockey.
