Mr. Cherry holds undergraduate degrees from York University (Hons. B.A. in Kinesiology & Physical Education) and post-graduate degrees from York University (B.Ed. in Intermediate-Secondary Education), University of Toronto (M.Ed. in Educational Leadership), and Ontario Supervisory Qualification from the University of Toronto. He joins Sunway after 32 years of working in education, including 7 years as a teacher in Ontario, 3 years as a Department Head, 6 years as a Vice Principal, and 16 years as a Principal. Additionally, he has served as a Summer Principal for specialist English Language programs in elite schools in Taipei, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Cherry comes to Sunway International School from Sunway College, where he served as the Canadian International Matriculation Programme Director. He's excited to bring his extensive experience and expertise to collaboratively lead the growth of the school's new campus.
