Ms Alishah Virji completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto majoring in English, and minoring in Drama, Theatre, & Performance Studies and Education & Society. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Education at the University of British Columbia with a special focus in inquiry-based education and the International Baccalaureate curriculums. Before arriving in Kuala Lumpur, she taught in Beijing and Vancouver. While she enjoys teaching a variety of subjects, she is particularly thrilled to be teaching Drama this year, and believes educational drama can be used as a tool in many subjects to build respect and trust within school communities.
