Ciaran McGowan
Ciaran McGowan holds a BA Honours in Humanities from the University of Ulster and a PGCE in Secondary History from the University of Wales Swansea. He has been teaching since the year 2000, starting his career with teaching in the UK. In 2004, he moved to Kyiv and since then, he has taught in international schools around the world in Egypt, Romania, Russia and at several other schools in Malaysia. He has extensive experience in teaching Humanities subjects such as History, Geography and Business Studies. He has also taken on responsibility posts such as Head of Department, Head of Faculty and Head of Year. He believes that we are all life-long learners and that the purpose of education is to produce well-informed global citizens.
