Haniffa holds a Bachelor of Arts from National University of Singapore and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Nanyang Technological University.  Out of her personal interest, she later pursued a Master’s in International Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Western Sydney.  She taught various subjects in Singapore for close to 15 years before teaching ESL and EAP in Australia to students of various nationalities for eight years.  She was a high school English teacher prior to joining SIS. She believes in empowering her students in their learning journeys, through interactive and collaborative lessons, while ensuring learning outcomes are met. In her free time, she manages to marry her service-learning experience with her love for travelling.
