Yones Jama comes from the vibrant and diverse city of Toronto, Canada. Growing up in such a multicultural environment fueled his curiosity about different cultures and led him to teach internationally. He holds a Specialized Honours degree in English and History from York University in Toronto, Canada. He also has a Bachelor of Education with a specialization in International Education. His teaching journey includes experience in Canada, the United Arab Emirates, and most recently, Vietnam. He enjoys learning new languages, exploring nature, and reading fiction. His interest lies in creating global citizens within the classroom, encouraging students to think critically and contribute to the global community. His teaching philosophy is that students need to feel safe, develop a love for learning, and engage deeply with their education, in that order.
