Samante Sarah Wickramaratna

With over 11 years of experience in education, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bemidji State University, Minnesota, and a PGCEi from Nottingham University. Passionate about holistic development, she has spent her years in classroom either as a support or primary homeroom teacher. She has also been a Primary Math Specialist, focusing on Singapore Math methodologies and intervention strategies for 3 years. In addition, she has also guided students in AIMS and FOBISIA math competitions, fostering confidence, teamwork, and a love for learning in every child. Beyond academics, she has coached primary students in basketball, football, badminton, and netball at AIMS, MSSD, KLISS and FOBISIA levels.

Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student is a unique individual with an innate curiosity and ability to learn. She strives to nurture these qualities by tailoring instruction to meet students' needs fostering a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.

Outside of the classroom, she enjoys outdoor games especially badminton music and experimenting with new recipes. Cooking allows her to explore diverse cuisines, blending creativity and curiosity-qualities she values deeply in her personal and professional life.
