Nomfundo has over a decade of experience in education, primary shaping her career in Romania, where she has held various teaching and leadership roles. She has led numerous initiatives in literacy, phonics, EAL, inquiry-based and social-emotional learning. She holds a Bachelor of Education Honours degree from Stellenbosch University, alongside additional qualifications, including a PGCE and IB Certificate in Teaching and Learning(PYP).

Her teaching experience spanning from Early Years to Year 4 has her committed to nurturing curiosity, resilience and collaboration in every child, empowering them to reach their potential by recoginising their unique strengths and needs. Her student-centered philosophy encourages independence and critical thinking, upheld by her belief in education being a force for a kinder, more compassionate world.
