Mohammed Ashfaq Asghar

Coming from Birmingham in the UK, Ashfaq holds a Bsc Honours in Human Psychology from Aston University in Birmingham, and he completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at the University of Birmingham.

 

Ashfaq began his teaching career at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Castle Bromwich, UK after which he moved to Tokyo, Japan where he spent 11 years teaching English in Junior High schools.

 

During his time in Tokyo, he implemented student welfare initiatives that focused on emotional and behavioral support, ensuring that students received the necessary guidance to thrive.

 

Specialising in teaching English as a second language, Ashfaq believes that education should be accessible to all, emphasising the importance of understanding students' individual needs and fostering a growth mindset.

 

Outside the classroom, Ashfaq is a dedicated sports enthusiast, actively participating in football, cricket, and martial arts. In his spare time, Ashfaq also enjoys learning new languages.
