Early Childhood Educator JK
Kesia Jacobs is a dedicated Early Childhood Educator from South Africa. She has experience teaching in private and international schools across South Africa, Cambodia, and now Malaysia. Before joining Sunway International School Iskandar Puteri, she taught Kindergarten at international schools in Phnom Penh, following both the Cambridge and US Common Core curricula.
She graduated with a degree in Education, specializing in Early Childhood Development, and is currently completing her second degree at the University of South Africa (UNISA), a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing. This further enriches her ability to foster a love of stories, language, and imaginative thinking in young children. She also holds a TEFL/TESOL certification, which equips her with the skills to teach English to speakers of other languages.
Kesia is passionate about creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where young learners feel safe, confident, and excited to explore the world around them. Her teaching approach emphasizes play-based learning, creativity, and the development of social-emotional skills.
