DP Physics & Mathematics Grade 9 & 10

Ms. Shafiqa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Astronomy with a minor in Mathematics from Drake University, USA. She also holds the Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning (CICTL), equipping her with research-based strategies to support student growth and engagement in the classroom.

With over seven years of teaching experience, Ms. Shafiqa has taught both the Malaysian national curriculum and the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus. She is passionate about helping students see Physics as more than formulas, encouraging them to explore the world through observation, inquiry, and logical reasoning.

Ms. Shafiqa joined SISJ in August 2025 and is dedicated to creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment. Outside the classroom, she enjoys dancing as a creative outlet and a way to unwind, believing in the importance of balance between academics and personal well-being.
