Andrea is an Ontario-certified educator with over 20 years of experience in international education, having taught in inspiring schools in Singapore, China, and New York City. She holds a Master of Teaching degree from the University of Toronto and a bilingual Bachelor of Arts degree from York University.

Andrea is deeply committed to supporting multilingual learners. Her career has been dedicated to empowering students who are developing English proficiency, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to excel across the curriculum.

Her husband, Chris, is also a member of the SIS faculty, and their two sons are enrolled in the Canadian Programme. After a brief period in Canada, their family relocated to Malaysia, accompanied by their sweet dog, Murphy.

Outside the classroom, Andrea enjoys reading, tending to her flower garden and planning her family’s next travel adventure.
