Shannon Labuschgne is an educator from South Africa who relocated to Kuala Lumpur with her husband, Chaldon, and their two daughters. As a family, they are excited to begin this new chapter, which also marks their first international teaching experience, and they feel fortunate to be starting it at SIS.

She has 10 years of teaching experience and holds a degree in Early Childhood Development (ages 0–9). She is a dedicated and highly motivated Early Years teacher with a strong passion for nurturing the growth and development of young children. Her teaching approach is interactive and hands-on, focused on creating an engaging, stimulating, and joyful learning environment.

She thrives in progressive and collaborative team environments and is always eager to learn, grow, and refine her teaching practice. Her goal is to inspire young learners and help them reach their full potential.

Outside of school, she values spending quality time with her family, and they are all looking forward to the exciting journey ahead.
