Chris Bradshaw
Chris Bradshaw is an experienced international educator originally from Bath in the United Kingdom, with over 15 years of teaching experience across Japan, China, and Indonesia. He holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Moreland University (USA) and a BSc (Honours) in Genetics & Management from the University of Liverpool.
He has taught a wide range of subjects across Early Years, Primary, and Secondary levels within the Cambridge, UK National Curriculum, and other international programmes. With a strong background in EAL/ESL teaching, he is particularly passionate about inclusive practices, language development, and supporting students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
His teaching philosophy centres on building strong relationships, fostering curiosity, and supporting student wellbeing alongside academic growth. He believes that learning should be enjoyable, meaningful, engaging, and connected to real-world contexts.
Outside of school, he is a father of four boys, and his wife, who is from Japan, is also a teacher. As a family, they value education, culture, and community. In his spare time, he enjoys sports, music, cooking, and mindfulness practices, which help him maintain balance and wellbeing. He looks forward to becoming part of the Sunway school community.
