Joshua Hulks

 Joshua (Mr Hulks) holds a master’s degree in theoretical physics, specializing in applied mathematics and the computational simulation of non-equilibrium systems. He is passionate about helping students understand how experimentation, theory, and simulation underpin 21st century science and engineering.

Joshua’s journey in education began in his teens as a sailing and outdoor adventure instructor, where he developed a lasting appreciation for experiential learning. He brings prior experience with the International Baccalaureate program and is excited to contribute to the SIS community.

Outside the classroom, Joshua shares his love of sailing, a pursuit he has enjoyed across multiple continents. He is committed to creating learning experiences that are authentic, reflective, and engaging for his students.
