Class in Action, Elementary Grade 3
Iskandar Puteri, 25 May - For today's #ClassInSession, let's take a sneak peek at some of our students from Grade 3 in Elementary.
In our Grade 3 Science Unit, Soils and Plants, students investigated the various properties of soil. The students made pots from clay to extend their knowledge about how soil can be used. They have also been learning about the lifecycle of a plant and were able to observe the germination process in the classroom to understand the important role that soil, water, and sunlight have in growing a plant.
They were so excited to get their hands dirty by repotting their corn plant into their self-made pot.
Needless to say, the Grade 3s were extremely happy with their final product and felt encouraged to continue to grow plants in their own communities.
